Amphenol designs and manufactures power connectors and interconnect products to handle high-amperage and high-voltage requirements in the harshest environments. Our extensive range of high-power products include high-power connectors and cable assemblies, busbars, and high-power contacts, meet many industry-specifications for industrial, electric vehicles, hybrid-electric vehicles, solar, military, commercial aerospace, urban air mobility, and space systems. Our ability to engineer products using technologies from across industries to create the right solution for each application is second-to-none.
The 125GMT10/nrg125GMT10 and 125GMT15/nrg125GMT15 fuse panels are 125A dual-feed and provide 10/10 and 15/15 GMT fuse positions. Engineered into a standard 1RU footprint that supports up to 20A GMT fuses in each position, providing ample capacity for distribution to a broad range of components. Advanced circuit-level monitoring features are available as an option.
The 240GT54/nrg240GT54 combination fuse panels are 240A dual-feed and provide 5/5 GMT fuse positions and 4/4 TPA fuse or circuit breaker positions. Engineered into a standard 1RU footprint, with circuits that support up to 20A GMT fuses and 50A TPA fuses or 60A breakers in each position, providing ample capacity for distribution to a broad range of components.
The 250TPA08/nrg250TPA08 fuse panels are 250A dual-feed and provide 8/8 TPA fuse positions. Engineered into a standard 1RU footprint, each circuit supports up to 50A TPA fuses in each position, providing ample capacity for distribution to a broad range of components. Advanced circuit-level monitoring features are available as an option.
The 300CB08/nrg300CB08 circuit breaker panels are 325A dual-feed and provide 8/8 breaker positions. Engineered into a standard 1RU footprint, each circuit supports up to 60A breakers in each position, providing ample capacity for distribution to a broad range of components. Advanced circuit-level monitoring features are available as an option.
Engineered for use in 1RU circuit breaker panels, these single-pole standard delay circuit breakers provide reliable circuit protection for DC applications from 5A to 60A. In addition to providing conventional overcurrent protection, each breaker can be used as an on-off switch.
Amphenol Air LB France's busbars provide a means of power distribution between power generator boxes, terminal blocks, and smaller terminal block interconnects. Bus bars are available in various standard sizes and shapes as well as in custom designs. Bus bars present high mechanical resistance and are resistant to high temperatures.
Busbars are used to connect a row of electrotechnical protection devices such as ground leakage circuit breakers, line circuit breakers, Neozed, D/D0 fuse mounts, overvoltage and lightning protection devices. These busbars are available with UL, in 1-pole to 4-pole versions, and are supplied in cross-sections up to 95 sqmm, in various shapes and in versions with a pin or fork.
AFTG offers a wide range of accessories for wiring motor contactors or mini contactors in plant and control engineering with or without UL certification. The fully molded busbars and star-point bridges are used to reduce errors in the wiring connection of power contactors. The busbars fit the devices such as from ABB, Allen Bradley, Eaton, GE, Lovato, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or WEG.
The 19” Hybrid Patchbox is suitable for fixed installations with a one-piece front panel to accommodate up to 8 URM P8-connectors and 12 RJ45 Keystone-Modules. Alternative SC- or LC-connectors are applicable. Optimized packing density is provided by combining fiber optic and copper cables. Backside cable inlets for screwed cable glands 2 x M32 and 4 x M25 as well as M6 grounding bolt are included.
In power conversion systems, low inductance interconnects allow lower commutation losses and increased switching frequency. Amphenol Auxel dedicated project management teams and engineers design and manufacture custom state-of-the-art Laminated Busbars.
The nrgBDFB-XLW 1000A Battery Distribution Fuse Bay includes up to eight panels per bay with each panel supporting a single feed with a maximum input rating of 1000A. Each panel contains 20 circuit positions for either bullet-style breakers or TFD fuse holders and features -48V operating voltage to fit in legacy and next-generation network applications with advanced circuit-level monitoring.
OLST Technology (Optimized Local Surface Treatment)
OLST Technology (Optimized Local Surface Treatment) combines the advantages of light metals – low weight, easy workability, etc. – with the advantages of copper, such as corrosion resistance, the property of being soldered, special features for electrical purposes.
Electromobility requires the transmission of high electrical power in the vehicle. The high voltages and currents that occur here must be distributed in the drive train between the components, such as the battery, motor, and charge controller. For this purpose, we develop application-specific components for different requirements and tasks.
