HIGH-PERFORMANCE DIGITAL AUDIO/VIDEO INTERCONNECT SOLUTION
Amphenol HDMI supports standard or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a connector. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio. With 18Gb/s of bandwidth, HDMI can accommodate the future enhancements and requirements of audio/video equipment.

HDMI2.1 enhancements from Amphenol improve picture and sound quality and usability. HDMI 2.1 also includes reduced tearing enhances clarity with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and supports higher frame rates for smoother video, but it also allows variable frame rates.
HDMI 2.1 Cables
Amphenol's HDMI 2.1 supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K@60 HZ and 4K@120HZ, and resolutions up to 10K. Dynamic HDR formats are also supported, and bandwidth capability is increased up to 48Gbps. Amphenol's HDMI2.1 cable has passed the certification, and the mechanical interface is compatible with HDMI2.0 and HDMI1.4.

HDMI FTV is a complete ruggedized solution around HDMI standard using a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) to connect the plug and the receptacle. This solution allows you to insert a standard HDMI cordset into a metallic plug which will protect it from shocks, dust, and fluids.
