Amphenol is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of high-performance interconnect systems for harsh environment defense applications including vibration, pressure, humidity, nuclear radiation and severe temperature changes. We have unparalleled product breadth ranging from military specification connectors, customized high-speed board level interconnects, flexible to rigid printed circuit boards, backplane systems and integrated assemblies. Our solutions span most defense end markets including avionics, communications, engines, ground vehicles and tanks, homeland security, naval, ordnance and missile systems, radar systems, rotorcraft, satellite and space programs and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
State-of-the-art machine with abilities to machine, coat, inspect, and assemble mechanical solutions for our internal and external customers. Our capabilities include Six 4-Axis Mazak machines, 5-Axis Mazak Integrex, water-jet, and press brake, CMM, vacuum fixturing for thin-walled heat-sinks.
Reliable interconnection and continued performance in size 8, 12, & 16 crimp termination style. Available for use in MIL DTL 38999 Series I, II, and III Connectors. Also available in PC Tail.
Amphenol RF attenuators are designed to offer flat attenuation over the designated frequency range and feature a microwave grade resistor that consistently reduces power. Hex flats on the body allow this attenuator to be easily torqued to the mating connector.
Amphenol RF terminators are available in many common series and genders including; 1.0/2.3, APC-3.5, APC-5.5, BNC, F-type, HD-BNC, N-Type, QMA, and SMA. Amphenol RF terminators reliably prevent RF signals from being reflected along the transmission line to reduce interference.
Amphenol-BSI’s range of PICMG compliant backplanes includes CompactPCI Serial which modernizes CompactPCI to include high-speed serial Ethernet, PCIe, SATA and USBinterconnects. These high-speed serial interconnects are capable of data rates up to 12Gb/s.
The size 8, 10, and 12 concentric twinax contacts were developed for applications that require high-performance interconnect characteristics in multi-pin connectors. Ideal for this application need is the high-performance D38999 Series III connector with its fully scoop-proof feature of recessed pins. The concentric Twinax contact is crimp terminable to twisted shielded cable.
CTOS series is a robust optical connector for the rapid deployment of high-speed transmission links under harsh environments. The hermaphroditic mating makes it possible to “daisy chain” cable assemblies without using any interconnect adapters. The specific lens design guarantees a large beam diameter and a low loss connection, less sensitive to dirt and dust.
Amphenol SOCAPEX CTOS is an expanded beam fiber optic connector available in singlemode and multimode. Designed for gloved handling and blind mating in the most extreme conditions, its features include up to 4 channels, a hermaphroditic design, a protective window with contactless transmission, and qualification in accordance with NATO/STANAG4290 norms.
Amphenol LTW offers a comprehensive range of rugged USB Type-C connectors delivering a high data transmission rate of up to 10 Gbps and superior power charging up to 5A current. Designed in various form factors with multiple termination options make it ideal to fulfill industrial harsh application【Quick Guide: https://amphenolltw.com/down.php?supp_download=111】
Piezo Technologies specializes in designing, modeling, and developing hemispherical and spherical piezoelectric ceramic sensing elements for customers who range from prime defense contractors to naval labs and advanced marine research teams. Some require only the ceramic, custom-shaped to exacting frequency, sensitivity, and depth specifications. Others ask us to build the entire transducer.
Piezo Technologies’ custom piezoceramic composites offer improved and tunable acoustic matching, higher bandwidth, and faster ringdown characteristics, compared to traditional piezoceramics. Applications include underwater sonar, handheld sonar, underwater buried object detection, and NDT. We can provide custom sensing elements as well as complete build-to-spec ultrasonic transducers.
Piezo Technologies produces advanced piezoelectric ceramics for use in ultrasonic transducers. Our wide range of high quality piezoelectric ceramic materials includes modified Lead Zirconate Titanate, both hard PZT and soft PZT, including Navy Type PZT materials (Navy I PZT-4, Navy II PZT-5A, Navy III PZT-8, Navy V PZT-5J, and Navy VI PZT-5H).
Piezo Technologies customers include many prime defense contractors. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, from design and development to build-to-print contract manufacturing of ultrasonic transducers, sensors, and sub-assemblies. We absorb development work and deliver a plug-and-play acoustic component so their engineers can focus on system-level performance.
D38999 Connectors with Coaxial, Concentric Twinax, and Triax Contacts
MIL-DTL-38999 connectors are ideally suited for shielded contacts for high-performance, high-speed interconnection applications. Insert arrangements can incorporate: coax (sizes 8, 12, and 16); twinax (sizes 8 and 12); and triax contacts (sizes 8, 10, and 12).
Amphenol SV Microwave offers high-frequency BMA and SMPM D38999 cabled RF contacts (size 8, 12 & 16) to SMA male connectors on Ø.085 and Ø.141 cable types that populate standard D38999 circular connectors. These fixed-length cable assemblies allow you to expand the use of the standard D38999 circular connector to incorporate microwave transmission lines.
Used to facilitate the launching of controlled impedance signals to printed circuit boards. Two strategically spaced inner contacts form two 100 or 150 Ohm matched impedance differential pairs. Requires modification of MIL-DTL-38999 connector to accommodate keyed contacts. Available in size 8 crimp termination style. Also available in size 8 with PC tails.
Proven line of Digital Video Interface media converters that can be used in harsh environment avionics, ground systems, or naval applications that need to transmit and receive such encoded interfaces over fiber optic cables.
