Alternate to Cadmium Platings
Multiple options for alternate-to-cadmium platings, including Durmalon, Black Zinc Nickel, and the new AP-93 1000-hour salt spray approved plating. Amphenol uses the RoHS requirements and the latest revisions to the MIL-DTL-38999 specification to develop these platings.
Alternative to M12 - Ultra High-Density X-Lok Push-Lock Connector

AmpheSEAL High Pressure
The AmpheSEAL connectors provide sealing between the plug and receptacle interfaces and have been tested to withstand pressure to at least 300 PSI. Not intermateable with standard products. Must use AmpheSEAL on both sides of the mated pair.
AOC USB Type C Extender - Active Optical Cable
USB Type C Active Optical Cable extender is a hybrid copper and fiber optic cable that enables long distance transmission of high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 data, video, and power delivery without signal loss or latency. This USB Type C extender supports lengths up to 15 meters maximum instead 1 meter max in copper version, delivering stable data and video transmission over long distances.
AP-93 Plating
AP-93 is a conductive REACH/RoHS compliant finish that outperforms Cadmium. AP-93 exceeds Olive-Drab Cadmium plating by meeting 1000 hours of dynamic salt spray, 500 mating cycles, and meets the millivolt drop shell-to-shell conductivity of nickel (Class F). AP-93 meets a 200° C temperature rating, is compatible with other platings, and is available on all D38999-style Series III connectors.
Aquacon Connectors
Designed to provide maximum service in oceanic or fluid immersion applications. A specially designed aluminum bronze coupling nut and type 316 stainless steel shells resist corrosion and provide a pressure withstanding connector. Positive threaded coupling. “O” rings, and a color band visual indicator assures sealing and proper mating. A rear accessory thread provides for the use of EMI hardware.
ARINC 801 Fiber Optic Connectors
Amphenol offers a multi-channel circular connector that complies with the ARINC specification. This connector, available in straight plug and wall mount receptacle, uses the ARINC 801 ceramic termini.
Blind Mate - X-Lok Push-Lock Connector
Amphenol LTW’s X-Lok Connectors are presented in various sizes for power, signal and hybrid applications for fast, simple and reliable connections. Board Level Connectors
Amphenol SOCAPEX offers a wide range of board to board (PCB) & board to cable connectors. Our solutions cover different types of technologies using copper and/or fiber optic are proposed as high pin count connector or high speed solutions. Our connectors are designed to meet performances of main standards as MIL-DTL-55302, MIL-DTL-83513 and VITA (either VITA 46 or VITA 66).
Breakaway Plugs and Jacks
Watertight, breakaway connectors are designed to meet severe environmental conditions. They are watertight, with wiping-action contacts that self-clean. Shielded versions are available and termination is either solder or insulation-piercing, which is field installable. Miniature versions are also available.
