RADSOK® technology is based upon a stamped and formed flat grid, uniquely twisted into a hyperbolic geometry to provide robust, high-density contact to the mating pin contact. This provides the high normal forces required for conductivity and provides a large conductive surface area. The MIL-DTL-38999 Series III jam-nut style connector features a reduced flange design that saves space, weight, and reduces your footprint when used in PCB applications. More connectors are able to be fit on a box or board due to the reduced flange having a smaller diameter than a standard jam nut receptacle. 30% lighter than standard 38999/24 (w/o stand-offs).
