Fiber Demarc Enhanced Access Enclosure (FDE)

The Fiber Demarcation Enhanced Access enclosure is especially suited for Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) applications. When the FDE indoor wall-mount enclosure is combined with products such as our HiD4 passives, fiber pigtails, splice tray adapter kits, and grounding options, you have a ready-made solution for a multitude of applications.

The Fiber Demarcation Enhanced Access enclosure has a low profile, side-by-side door design that provides an ideal environment for splicing and patching in indoor wall-mount applications. An integrated access door on the customer side of the enclosure provides a generous opening for a cleaning tool to reach the optical connectors resulting in a more craft-friendly design. The access door can be opened by-hand without the use of tools. This door is shown in the pictures below.

FS3 - Fiber Splice Shelf

The FS3 brings a new level of access, convenience, and security to fiber splicing applications.  This shelf enables quick and easy fiber splicing and connectivity for rack mount applications. The adapter panel opening accommodates up to three single-width style LGX® modules or adapter plates. Cable termination brackets can hold cable diameters ranging from 0.25” to 0.50”. The design allows for expanded front accessibility with a removable top/front panel and sliding fiber management drawer with enhanced connector cleaning access, as well as rear access via a removable top/rear panel.

H-Connector Cable Assembly

Amphenol's H-Connector assemblies provide a robust and sealed connection solution for fiber to the home (FTTH) connectivity. The H-Connector end incorporates an SC/APC type connection within a slim, sealed, threaded polymer housing allowing easy connection to either a multiport terminal or in-line extension receptacle. The SC/APC connector mates to a standard adapter, providing a common interface for FTTH applications. Available with flat drop or traditional round style OSP cables, the H-Connector provides an ideal solution for direct burial, conduit, or aerial installations.

HiD4 Cassette

The HiD4 is an industry leading high-density, miniature shelf mount cassette for passive applications such as splitters or CWDM MUX and DEMUX applications. The miniature HiD4 footprint provides full functionality with up to 14 front facing LC/APC or LC/UPC ports and its mounting is compatible with LGX® shelves. At approximately 3″ deep, and half the width of a single LGX module, this package provides significantly improved port density when compared with conventional LGX cassettes. The cassette’s unique housing design and increased port count available on the front faceplate of the device allows for port groupings by function, such as; commons and upgrades, wavelength channels and test/monitoring ports providing added versatility for the network architecture.

HiDT in medium splice tray

The HiDT has redefined the industry standard for compact splice tray mounted passive multi-component modules. HiDT tray modules are designed to integrate directly onto the All Systems Broadband Universal Splice/Component Tray (UST) with no intermediate mounting fixtures. The HiDT housing allows for up to 14 fiber ports, all exiting one end of the package. The innovative design of the HiDT housing offers improved port count and component capability creating design advantages for optical networks, while the small overall footprint allows for installation of two modules on a single splice tray, improving density in field deployment applications.

Enclosures

The Infinity Premises, IPE series enclosures were designed with the technician in mind.  Completely reimagined using the real world needs for technicians and installers, the IPE series completes the Infinity Premises System, integrating installation hardware to work as a system.  The QuicMount Rail allows passive and active devices to snap in without hardware.  Cable Retention Slots allow installation to occur outside of the enclosure and simply slide into place.  Continuous Bosses, modular accessories, weather and UV resistant materials are just a few more of the ground breaking innovations designed into the IPE Enclosure Series.  

LCX 1RU Fiber Patch Panel - 288-Port Patch Chassis

Amphenol Telect designed LCX fiber splice panels and LCX fiber patch panels of various densities to suit network fiber splice, patching and routing requirements.

Interconnection and cross-connection cabling from above or below enter at the two front corners of each LCX panel via isolation hooks and/or radius control arcs (sold separately) installed on-site to suit the application and entry/exit direction.

Eight split arcs and 24 snap-in cable rings are standard with each panel. Amphenol Telect also offers optional kits (KIT-CMHOOK, KIT-CMRHOOK, KIT-CMARK) to satisfy cable management practices requiring multiple arcs or guide posts to separate and isolate groups of fiber cables.

1RU models have densities up to 24 fiber terminations. Instead of front or rear doors, 1RU panels have a removable sliding drawer that can be extended at the front or rear of the chassis to maximize access to fiber connections.

Pivoting arcs at corner entries and exits provide cable management. Entry and exit positions are compatible with entries and exits of other Amphenol Telect LCX panels.

Layered Fiber Demarc (LFD) enclosure

The Layered Fiber Demarcation enclosure is designed for high-density fiber connectivity and splicing for indoor wall mount applications.

This compact demarcation fiber enclosure can accommodate SC and LC style adapters and mass fusion splice sleeve holders or splice trays for single-fiber splice sleeves. Incorporated in a layered, split-housing design are separate carrier and customer areas with individual security bolts and padlock hasps. LGX Fiber Management

Amphenol’s 948 Series Rack Mount Patch Panels provide a convenient location for patching single mode or multimode fiber optic cables from the cable termination point to the lightwave equipment. They are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate from 24 to 96 fibers.

The Rack Mount Patch Panels can be used in both cross-connect and interconnect applications. Preterminated multi-channel fiber optic pigtails are excellent for reducing installation costs and installer handling. The patch panel pigtail can be quickly and easily routed to the splicing location, eliminating the need for performing field terminations.
