MiniSAS

The Mini-SAS external I/O connector system consists of a die-cast metal cage and a Compact Multi Lane SMT connector. The Mini-SAS can support Fiber Channel and Infini-Band standards, making it the perfect solution to the ever-growing demand of high-speed mass storage systems, servers, and storage area networks. Providing four serial send/receive channels per port, this connector system provides signal speeds of 6 Gbps per channel across the connector interface and is designed to satisfy the needs for gigabit serial data transmission applications. The connector satisfies the requirements of the INCITS T10 SAS 2.0 and SAS 2.1, and is also compliant with SFF-8086 and SFF-8088. The cage is mounted separately to the body so that the stress imposed by insertion and removal of the cable plug does not affect the signal/body solder joints. The connector is available with unique solder hold-down tabs designed to provide additional mechanical robustness in demanding applications.

MiniSAS HD

The Mini-SAS High Density Interconnect is the next generation SAS system, with 4x, 8x and 16x cable-plugging options to provide faster data transmission and more bandwidth for end users. Our Mini-SAS HD is designed to be compliant with the SFF-8644 standard. It is also designed to save space with its increased density and reduced size as compared to the Mini-SAS 2.0. The Mini-SAS HD connector system has a 2-row, right angle connector with 12 Gbps per channel. Each connector handles 4 lanes of data for up to 48 Gbps of total bandwidth. Ganged options are also available up to a 1x4 configuration for up to 192 Gbps of total bandwidth. This connector will mate with active copper and optical cable assemblies, as well as active pluggable modules for extended-length applications in data centers. Main applications for Mini-SAS HD include HBA Servers, storage devices, and switches in data centers.

OCuLink Connector - G14 Series - CMIO

COMPACT, HIGH SPEED, NEXT-GENERATION PCIe/SAS INTERFACEOCuLink is a companion specification to the PCI Express (PCIe) Base Specification. The primary focus is the implementation of internal and external Small Form Factor PCIe connectors and cables optimized for the client and mobile market segments. OSFP

The OSFP interconnect system has 60 contacts per port and supports 16 high speed pairs. With a 0.6mm contact pitch, 4 rows of contacts and a horizontal port pitch of 23.38mm, the OSFP footprint is optimized for signal integrity performance. The stacked connector is enhanced for low crosstalk and has ground commoning for resonance dampening. It is also designed for 1U applications. An integrated heat sink for optimal thermal performance is a feature of the design.

PCI Express Card Edge Connectors

These 1.0mm pitch, vertical card edge connectors from Amphenol ICC enable all generations of PCI Express® signaling in desktop PCs, workstations, and servers. The connector designs provide support for 2.5Gb/s (Gen1), 5.0Gb/s (Gen2), and the recent update to 8.0Gb/s (Gen3) per differential signal pair.

The base connector family provides x1, x4, x8, or x16 link widths to suit different bandwidth requirements. The basic bandwidth (x1) version supports a single PCI Express lane and is typically used for I/O cards in desktop PCs. The x4 and x8 connectors provide 64 and 98 contacts, respectively, for server I/O. The high bandwidth versions (x16 lanes and higher) are used for applications that require even more bandwidth, such as graphics cards in desktop PCs or riser cards in servers.

Power Card Edge Connectors

The Power Card Edge connectors are a cost-effective system that can be used for DC power output from embedded AC/DC power supplies or for power distribution between boards within an enclosure. The narrow connector body helps maximize airflow for increased cooling and is well-suited for use in 1U rack-mount servers or on power distribution boards inside 1U redundant power supply assemblies.

Adjacent power contacts are positioned on 2.54mm pitch along the card edge. Power contacts are manufactured using a high-conductivity copper alloy. Each power contact is rated for up to 7A current measured at 30°C temperature rise in still air. Signal contacts are positioned on 1.27mm pitch.

The connector range includes options for right-angle, vertical, or straddle-mount solder termination with a full complement of power contacts. Right-angle options also include versions that combine power and power control signal contacts or power contacts and an integrated AC pass-through port in a single connector.

      2. Dielectric Withstanding Voltage

          Condition: EIA 364-20. Method B. Test between adjacent of mated and unmated connector assemblies. The dielectric shall withstand 500 VAC for 1 minute at sea level.

Power USB

The USB+Power interconnect system was developed by Amphenol ICC to enable additional power to be delivered to peripheral devices connected using USB 2.0 cable links. When compared to a standard USB connector, the USB+Power connector interface includes four additional contacts for power delivery, each rated at 5A/contact, to supplement the connector's current-carrying capability.

For many devices, this eliminates the requirement for a separate power source reducing the number of cables required. For peripherals not requiring the additional current, the USB+Power receptacle will mate with a standard USB ‘A’ plug.

To ensure proper mating, USB+Power is individually keyed and color coded for 5V, 12V, and 24V.

Powerlug is a power cable termination technology utilizing high pressure to mechanically deform copper wire strands and a copper sleeve to form a controlled width lug. Powerlugs can be used for single wire, multi-wire, splice, or braided cable power solutions. PV Crimp - Basics

The innovative PV® crimp-to-wire system connects discrete wire to printed circuit boards. High reliability dual-metal receptacle terminals plug to industry standard 0.025 inch (0.635mm) square posts. A variety of containment, protection and guidance options are available for both sides of the connector interface.

Wire side- PV® receptacle terminals can be terminated to wire and used discretely or inserted to multiple-circuit, MINI-LATCH connector housings that include optional polarizing keys.

Printed Circuit side- Shrouded multiple-post, headers include an integral friction feature that grips the sides of the mating MINI-LATCH housings and reduces the risk of disengagement. Other Amphenol ICC header options include discrete staked pins or BergStik® un-shrouded headers.

PwrBlade ULTRA® Connector System - Power

The PwrBlade ULTRA® connector is the newest addition to the PwrBlade® product line. This new design offers an overall height reduction of 24% to reduce airflow impedance in high density power supplies. Three contact choices are available; High Power, Low Power, and Signal.

Ultra-high conductivity materials and new highly conductive plating, combine to produce an ultra-low resistance of just 0.4mΩ at end-of-life conditions. The result is the lowest profile power distribution connector capable of delivering more than 200 Amps per linear inch.

PwrBlade+® Connector - Power

The PwrBlade+® connector is a next generation AC/DC power distribution connector system for demanding applications requiring higher linear current density and low power loss. It is capable of 192A/linear inch with eight adjacent high power contacts energized simultaneously and 0.7m power contact resistance after environmental exposure.

The PwrBlade+® connector builds on the PwrBlade® connector's proven technology but includes enhancements to achieve increased performance and density. It is rated up to 75A per power contact without exceeding a 30°C temperature rise in still air. This product features an innovative high power contact design and housing that allows higher current carrying capability in a more compact package.

The high power contact features an optimized beam design and material property enhancements that significantly increase linear current density making it ideal for next generation 1U/2U servers, storage enclosures, telecommunications equipment and datacom/networking equipment.

The PwrBlade+® connector also features a highly vented housing design, a low power contact option for applications with multiple voltages and lower power requirements and half-bullet guides for a reduced connector footprint.

The PwrBlade+® connector is available with power and signal contacts integrated into a single molded housing for power distribution and power control. Similar to other Amphenol ICC power solutions, it is modularly tooled making the product highly configurable in terms of the number and placement of the power and signal contacts for custom power needs. Right angle and co-planar options are available to accommodate various system architectures.

PwrBlade® Connector - Power

The PwrBlade® power distribution connector system from Amphenol ICC includes power and signal contacts to provide power distribution and power control in a single connector. Options for either vertical or right-angle versions of PCB-mount headers and receptacles deliver support for coplanar, backplane or mezzanine connections. The connectors are ideal for robust power connections to embedded AC/DC power supplies or for board-to-board connections in servers, storage enclosures and communications equipment.

Initially developed to enable the implementation of Server System Infrastructure (SSI), Standards for Distributed Power Supplies (DPS), Mid-range Power Supplies (MPS), Highend Power Supplies (HPS) and PwrBlade® connectors are also available in wide variety of other configurations with either solder or pressfit board termination. The connectors can also be customized to address unique application requirements.

PwrBlade® connectors can be provided with one to 20 power contacts and zero to 148 signal contacts. Individual power contacts are rated at 48A current-carrying capacity; connector configurations with multiple power contacts are rated at 30A per power contact as tested for 30°C temperature rise in still air. An available cable port option provides segregated AC contacts for cable pass-through applications.

Capability for two levels of sequential mating for power contacts and two levels for signal contacts can support up to three levels of sequencing of power and signals. Sequential mating of ground, followed by power and signals can be used to provide

PwrLoPro® Connector

PwrLoPro® connectors are a family of board-to board power connectors designed to deliver more current with lower profile height and less board space.

PwrLoPro® stands 8mm off the edge of the printed circuit board which leaves more space for air flow. The stamped-and-formed power contact can reach the current density of 160A/inch within such compact design. The modular design allows flexible power and signal configurations catering to customer demands as other Amphenol ICC power connectors.

This high-density and low profile connector is developed to meet next generation of 1U application, telecommunications switches, high end servers and hot-pluggable power suppliers.

Amphenol ICC PwrLoPro® and TE MINI PAK HDL are mutually 2nd sourced to each other to ensure supply continuity in the world wide market. These two products are completely inter-matable and inter-changeable.
