1.85mm_Series

SV Microwave's extreme frequency 1.85mm connectors were designed for mode free operation through 65 GHz. The interface uses a mostly air-dielectric with a support bead that is set back in the body of the connector to reduce bead interaction in a mated pair. Like the 2.92mm and 2.4mm connector, the body has been designed to ensure that the outer conductors engage before the center conductors make contact. The 1.85mm interface uses an M7 thread and is compatible only with the 2.4mm interface.

LiteTouch RF Solderless Connectors

Don't suffer depression from heavy compression!

SV now offers a complete line of high frequency coaxial / surface mount PCB connectors that meet the industry need for high performing, highly reliable solderless connectors for precision thin substrate mounting.  As frequencies increase and board substrates become thinner, the standard solderless PCB compression mount connectors can create undesirable results on thin (< .010”) dielectric PCB.  SV's LiteTouch PCB connector addresses this issue by maintaining a solderless connection while keeping the board material intact.  Current configurations include 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm, and SMA.

Audio Jacks

Amphenol's range of Audio Jacks are widely used in mobile phone applications.  These connectors are available in different configurations, e.g. compressed type or for SMT solderable versions and fully customized to the application requirements.

Battery Connectors

Amphenol’s comprehensive offering of battery connectors for mobile phones come in single and multi-contact versions with straight and right angle mountings. They are available in a variety of pitches and heights to meet different phone and battery pad requirements. They feature stamp and form contacts with additional solder tags for high reliability and conductivity. Amphenol offers right angle and direct compression type, Wire to Board, board to board, blade type and float, or SMT versions.

Camera Sockets

Card Readers

Over the past 20 years, Amphenol has developed an extensive range of SIM and micro SD card readers which come in several different configurations including Simlocks, wing and bridge blocks, standard sim and SD blocks, with or without shielding protection, with or without integrated detect switch, float or SMT mounting. More recently, Amphenol has also engineered combined versions of sim and microSD connectors, featuring EMI shielding, tray with push-eject, push-pull or push-push mechanism, and integrated detect switches. Those are developed under Amphenol specific modular system which allows high design flexibility, fast time to market, and high reliability by assembling pre-existing mass production components into a customized shield. Solderless_Edge_Launch

SV Microwave is excited to launch our new line of high frequency solderless coaxial PCB edge launch connectors! Contact Pads (Press-on Contacts)

Amphenol’s contact pads are used in contact areas and as spacers on PCBs. Durable plating includes a diffusion barrier. The contact pads  connect with low resistance over the product’s lifetime for use in sensitive connections of antennas, microphones, and carbon PCBs. They are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Thickness: scalable ≥ 0.1 mm. Contact Pads are suitable for automatic assembly processes: pick & place, tape & reel and SMT solderable.

LMR® EZ style connectors

Spring Clips

Amphenol’s spring clips are very versatile and can be used in many applications including: antennas, metal housing connections, grounding connections, shielding connections, ESD & EMC connections, and LSD connectors. Amphenol offers more than 70 different P/Ns within 4 major families, including low and high force range standard fingers, side-protected and side-protected with preload. Customized clips can also be designed and manufactured on demand.

Spring Loaded Connectors

Amphenol offers a wide product range of spring loaded connectors. These connectors have a large working range and high contact force allowing safe data transmission. They are widely used in wearable applications and can also be fitted in various customized connecting solutions.

USB Type C

Amphenol offers different customized varieties of USB type C receptacles, whether in USB2.0 or USB3.0 version, in surface or mid-mount SMT version. Amphenol has also developed its own standard “strong” type, which enables high soldering adhesion to the PCB, suitable for harsh environment or high cable pulling force requirements.
