P1602 Pressure Sensor Die

The NovaSensor P1602 Pressure Sensor Die is a piezoresistive pressure sensor offered in a miniature die. When excited with 1 mA constant current, the P1602 produces a millivolt output that is proportional to input pressure. The P1602 is available as an absolute pressure sensor, where the applied pressure is referenced to an internal vauum sealed within the die. With NovaSensor SenStable®, the P1602 will provide very low long-term stability erros and excellent repeatability.

NPP-301 Series

The NovaSensor NPP-301 Series features silicon pressure sensors in surface mount packages. An ultra-small Silicon Fusion Bonded (SFB), ultra-high stability SenStable® piezoresistive chip from NovaSensor is placed in a plastic package that exploits high volume, leadframe package technology to bring forth a low-cost sensor alternative to the OEM user.

The NPP-301 Series produces a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the input pressure. The user can provide NPP Series products with signal conditioning circuitry to amplify the output signal or to maximize OEM value added. The NPP-301 Series is compatible with most non-corrosive gases and dry air.

NPX1 Tire Pressure Sensor

The NovaSensor NPX1 Tire Pressure Sensor represents the next-generation Remote Tire Pressure Monitoring (RTPM). NPX1 integrates a silicon pressure sensor, 8-bit RISC processor and a LF-input stage to meet market demands for flexible, customer specific behavior/solutions and overall system cost reduction. The programmable version of this sensor is available for development purposes, allowing the customer to download the application code in an electrically programmable EEPROM version.

This tire pressure sensor is intended for developing the application specific program. In order to ensure high reliability, the NPX1 sensor has the measurement routines (pressure, temperature, and supply voltage) implemented in ROM.
