Thermometrics Accusolve Diesel Particulate Filter Soot Sensor DPF

The Accusolve Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Soot Sensor utilizes radio frequency technology to enable accurate measurement of accumulated soot in the DPF, providing real-time soot loading data and real time closed loop control of the DPF regeneration process. Accurate measurement of the soot load allows for the optimization and reduction of regeneration cycles of the DPF. This in turn allows for improved fuel economy and improved filter life for active and passive regeneration systems.

AQUALINK®; Drymate; Undersea Connector

Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) offers the AquaLink®, a cost-effective series of dry-mate submersible fiber optic connectors for underwater applications. The FS140 AquaLink® has been designed for pressures up to 4,500 psi/300 bar (mated) which is adequate for 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) of water. The open mated receptacle supports pressures up to 450 psi.

The standard AquaLink® supports up to four single mode or multimode fiber optic contacts with additional channels available upon request. Using precision ceramics,
the AquaLink® provides excellent optical performance with insertion losses of 0.3 dB typical and 0.75 dB maximum. The AquaLink® is also easy to terminate, requiring standard fiber-optic tools and training. 

The AquaLink® is offered in a variety of materials including stainless steel 316, inconel 718 and marine bronze.

AT Circular Series

Amphenol Industrial Products Group introduces a series of thermoplastic receptacles featuring Amphenol’s AT contact technology. This series is designed to perform in the demanding applications found on construction and farm equipment, plus truck environments. The AT Circular series is a molded thermoplastic receptacle with a positive reverse bayonet retention system and sealed by redundant grommet wire sealing. The square flange design ensures a drop in replacement to existing panel designs and the jam nut version makes for easy installation. The 9 pin black receptacles are in accordance with the interface of the J1939 diagnostic connector.

AT Contact technology is already used successfully at major OEM’s and features machined contacts with both Nickel and Gold plating.

When there are rough environmental conditions the series C16-3 is in. the programm includes a variety of housing types an a wide range of contact arrangements and contact technologies. Solutions up to 900 V or 50 A can be realized. The housing made of high performance composite material is extremly robus and allows a low weight of the connector. There are versions with the proven screw terminals for easy field installation and crimp versions for const-effective machine processing. The bayonet quick release allows an easy and reliable handling of the connectors

eco|mate C16-L

The C16-3 2 + PE combines the advantages of two contact technologies: screw terminals for quick and easy (field) assembly of the female cable connector as well as economic crimp contacts for the male receptacle, which can be processed automatically. Based on shell size 1 the version with 3 contacts provides an optimized bayonet lock for IP67 in mated position and is also UV-resistant. Because of that the up to 35A and 750V connector is particularly for outside applications e. g. solar.

Thermometrics Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS)

The Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) monitors the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around the battery to cool the battery module of EV/PHEVs. If the battery module starts to overheat, the Coolant Temperature Sensor relays a signal to the Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS uses this information to prevent battery packs from any damage and maximize the performance.

Thermometrics Dual Solar Sensor

The Dual Solar Sensor uses two photo diode cells to measure the intensity of the light that enters into the cabin of the vehicle. It then takes this information and feeds it back to the automatic temperature control (ATC) unit of the vehicle's air conditioning system. The air temperatures of the driver's side and passenger side are then automatically adjusted up or down depending upon the amount of light entering both sides of the vehicle. The sensor is mounted on the IP panel near the vehicle's front window.

EFP series

The EFP series has a similar modular design to the HDS series but is designed and certified for use in hazardous locations such as drilling rigs and oil refineries. The hardware is precision machined form aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodic coated. ‘Through shell’ conductivity is standard. Reversible inserts are a ‘one piece’ design with wire sealing and a ‘cork and bottle ‘ interface giving advanced moisture sealing for each contact pair.

Single pin through to 143 ways are available with service duty from control up to 1135 amps and 1000V AC or DC. Glands are available for unarmored or armored and sheathed cables.
