EN4165 / SIM splice

This modular composite splice provides a reliable and simple connection between two EN4165 / SIM modules. Derived from the Amphenol Air LB France EN4165 / SIM connectors series 2, this splice is available with or without cable clamp, and/or flange. It can be fixed on/under a structure or Feed-through and can be fitted with the whole range of EN4165 / SIM modules. In-Seat Modular & Flexible Wiring; Quick install interconnect, splicing.

Amphenol Air LB France offers a wide range of optical modules for various standards of fiber optic termini or optical connectors.  The module SIMTac01 can be used with the whole range of EN4165 / SIM connectors. MTAC connector directly plugs and locks itself into the module. It can be easily removed for repair : unlocking from the front.

Evaporator Temperature Sensor

Thermometrics Evaporator Temperature Sensor is used to measure evaporator core temperature. An evaporator cools the refrigerant in the HVAC system. Since the evaporator core operates at temperatures very close to 0°C, it is important to have an accurate and robust thermistor to measure its temperature to prevent the core from freezing. A frozen core could result in costly damage to the evaporator core and diminished HVAC operation, so that the cabin temperature can no longer be controlled.

Telaire ChipCap 2

The Telaire ChipCap 2 offers the most advanced and cost effective humidity and temperature sensing solution for virtually any type of application. A capacitive polymer sensor chip and a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM are integrated into one embedded system in a reflow solderable SMD package.

Individually calibrated and tested, ChipCap 2 performs at ±2% from 20% to 80% RH (±3% over entire humidity range), and is simple and ready to use without further calibration or temperature compensation.

Lightening Bushings

Amphenol Pcd’s QuickSNAP Lightening Bushings are made to help guide wired bundles through the aircraft’s frame and stringers.  Unlike traditional lightening bushings, our products significantly reduce installation times and reduce the amount of foreign object debris (FOD).  The lightweight QuickSNAP’s are made with smooth edges in order to reduce wire chaffing, and although they are available in various standard configurations and sizes, customization is always an option.

P1300 Low Pressure Silicon Pressure Sensor Die

The NovaSensor P1300 Low Pressure Silicon Pressure Sensor Die are highly reliable, solid state pressure sensors, offered in a miniature 2.7 mm x 3.2 mm die. When excited with 1.5 mA, the P1300 produces a millivolt output that is proportional to input pressure. The sensor will operate with a constant voltage supply; however, the sensitivity will change –0.23%/°C. The P1300 is available as a diff erential and gauge sensor. NovaSensor’s SenStable® process provides good long-term stability and excellent repeatability. The die substrate must be connected to the positive power supply in order to maintain good long-term stability. To achieve this, +INa is connected to the sensor as well as the substrate pad, which is labeled with an “S.”

P1302 Low Pressure Silicon Pressure Sensor Die

The NovaSensor P1302 Low Pressure Silicon Pressure Sensor Die is a high-sensitivity silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor die that is well-suited for measuring low-pressure. In addition to superior stability from our patented SenStable® process, the P1302incorporates a bonded glass pedestal to provide thermal and die attach stress isolation. 

The P1302 piezoresistive pressure sensors are offered in a miniature 0.11 in x 0.13 in (2.7 mm x 3.2 mm) die. When excited with 1.5 mA, the P1302 produces a millivolt output that is proportional to input pressure. The P1302 is available as a differential and gage sensor.

Outside Air Temperature Sensor (OAT)

Thermometrics Outside Air Temperature Sensor (OAT) measures the temperature outside of a vehicle's passenger compartment. It relays the outside air temperature to the controller of the automatic HVAC system. The controller uses this temperature to help control the interior temperature of the vehicle. The sensor also provides the vehicle occupants with temperature readings from outside the car. This information is particularly useful when driving under near-freezing or freezing conditions. The sensor is usually mounted inside or near the front bumper or in the side mirror.

Pegasus Series

The Pegasus Series is Amphenol Pcd’s latest innovation in small, lightweight, rugged connectors. Designed for use in harsh environments, Pegasus builds on the successful Luminus Aerospace connector with the addition of EMI shielding. EMI shielding is provided by electroless copper and nickel plate, with a copper alloy spring finger gasket to ensure shell to shell conductivity. Tests show between 60db and 40db of attenuation, depending on frequency. This combination of light weight, small size, and EMI shielding makes Pegasus the ideal choice where protection against ambient noise transients, or suppression of emitted noise is required, and space and weight are at a premium.

PTF Series of PTC Type Thermistors

The Thermometrics PTF Series of PTC Type Thermistors consists of a range of radially-wired bare PTC disc thermistors. They are designed for general purpose over-current and short circuit protection.
