AAS-AQS-UNO Engineering Evaluation Board

The AAS-AQS-UNO Engineering Evaluation Board is used to evaluate the Telaire air quality sensors. It can support T9602 temperature and humidity sensors, T6713 carbon dioxide sensors, SM-PWM-01C dust sensors and other sensors from the Amphenol range. Moreover, the OLED display and Bluetooth output can be supported at the same time. This evaluation board is designed to speed up evaluation and development of the relevant sensors. The serial output can be configured to send sensor data to a PC over the USB connection for recording and analysis in 3rd party software.

Media Converters

Amphenol Aerospace's High Speed Solutions offers a fully integrated standalone Analog-to-Digital Converter package.  Our integrated Analog-to-Digital Converters support input through High Frequency 50Ω MMCX RF type interconnects in a rugged MIL-DTL-38999 ultra-small form factor package. The analog inputs are single-ended and coupled to the latest in TI’s family of open architecture high speed ADC devices using a balun and AC coupling capacitor configuration to produce the broadband differential input required by the devices.

ARINC 801

The ARINC 801 cylindrical fiber optic connector suite is suitable for aerospace and military applications. It is available in standard D38999 plug and receptacle shells and inserts are available to support 2 to 32 channels.  Both PC and APC are supported.


Amphenol FSI also offers the companion ARINC 801 terminus, which uses a standard 1.25mm ferrule and sleeve that can be terminated with standard LC termination procedures. The terminus can be inserted and removed from the connector with a standard size 16 contact removal tool. The terminus is available in both multimode and single mode versions. The fiber optic contact provides low insertion loss (0.3dB max, multimode) and back reflection (-55dB, APC). All versions of the termini are available in non-pull proof (for tight structure FO cables) and pull-proof (loose structure FO cable construction) variations.

Cable Separators

Amphenol Pcd’s Cable Separators are used to help separate cable harnesses from one another, aiding in organizing cable routing throughout the aircraft.  Available in either Nylon or PEEK, they maintain clearance between two parallel or crossing cable harnesses preventing wire abrasion.  Nine different versions are available and they are qualified to Airbus standard ABS1144.

Thermometrics Discharge Air Temperature Sensor (DAT)

The Discharge Air Temperature Sensor (DAT) is used to measure the temperature of the air that is emitted from a vehicle's air ducts. This temperature reading is fed back to the control module, and the system compares this temperature reading to what the occupant of the vehicle has the temperature set at on the air conditioning system. The control module calculates the temperature delta and automatically adjusts the HVAC system to minimize this temperature difference.

Thermometrics Dual Solar Sensor

The Dual Solar Sensor uses two photo diode cells to measure the intensity of the light that enters into the cabin of the vehicle. It then takes this information and feeds it back to the automatic temperature control (ATC) unit of the vehicle's air conditioning system. The air temperatures of the driver's side and passenger side are then automatically adjusted up or down depending upon the amount of light entering both sides of the vehicle. The sensor is mounted on the IP panel near the vehicle's front window.

Dualok

Dualok is an enhanced anti-decoupling mechanism that can be used on virtually any cylindrical plug connector and backshell. Thermometrics E-Stat Controller

The E-stat Controller is used in automobile air conditions to prevent the evaporator core from freezing. The NTC probe senses the temperature of the air as it passes through the evaporator core. An electronic control circuit interprets the change in resistance of the thermistor to indicate when the evaporator core is near freezing. The control circuit then provides an output to disengage the compressor clutch, allowing the evaporator core to warm. When the air temperature of the evaporator core warms up, the circuit reactivates the clutch allowing the evaporator to cool.
