D38999 Series II Connectors

D38999 Series III Connectors

Amphenol Tri-Start MIL-DTL-38999 Series III / EN3645 thread coupling connectors offer the highest performance capabilities for both general duty and severe environment applications. Different versions are available: "TV" metal versions (aluminum, stainless steel or marine bronze) as well as "CTV" composite versions, which offer a lightweight, corrosion resistant connector with the same high performance features as its metal counterpart.

Available with many high-speed contact options: Fiber Optics, Quadrax, Differential Twinax, High Power, Custom PCB contacts.

Matrix 83723

Matrix MIL-DTL-83723 series provides many choices within the range of a medium sized, environmentally resistant circular connector. With three coupling style choices- bayonet, threaded and quick-disconnect - the versatility of this family makes it increasingly popular for panel mount, box mount and line-to-line applications in aircraft. For general duty environmentally resistant requirements, this family of connectors provides a wide range of interconnection solutions. There are three coupling styles with multiple options.

Pyle 83723 Connectors

The Amphenol/Pyle MIL-DTL-83723 Series III Connectors were developed for the higher operating temperatures inherent in today’s high performance aircraft and aircraft engines. These connectors meet the performance requirements of: Boeing BACC63CM/CN Firewall; European ASD EN2997; GE M50TF3564; and Rolls-Royce ESC10 and ESC11.

MIL-PRF-12883

Amphenol Pcd Relay Sockets are manufactured to MIL-PRF-12883 specifications, plus specialized requirements, and are supplied in a broad range of military standard and special configurations and styles for 2 through 25 amp operations. Relay Sockets feature state of the art ultrasonically bonded interfaces between the dielectric components, which eliminate air paths and provide protection against moisture and degradation. The product line offers: Low Profile, Extended Height, Micro Miniature, Board Mount, Track Mount and Solder Termination relay sockets options.

MMA combines many of the best features from popular product lines including ARINC 600's power, RF, fiber optic and quadrax contacts, low mating forces and shrouded

Nano-Pegasus

Nano-Pegasus & Nano-Luminus build upon Amphenol Pcd's success in light weight, plastic circular connectors in the aerospace market, in very small way.  Nano-Pegasus & Nano-Luminus are small, plastic, easy to use connectors designed specifically for sensing, command and control applications where a Micro or Nano Dsub would be used. Nano-Pegasus & Nano-Luminus provide exceptional performance in tight spaces, packing 11 high grade contacts in a shell size 5 housing (0.325” outer diameter).  That’s equivalent to 132 contacts per square inch!  Contacts are rated for 1a, 350 Vdc operation.  With a 0.050” spacing, this gives 500 Vdc insulation resistance, and 350 Vac dielectric withstanding at 70k feet.

Pegasus High Speed

Amphenol Pcd has expanded the capability of Pegasus Series to support industry standard TWINAX and QUADRAX style contacts. PEGASUS HS brings an easy to use, light weight, low cost connection solution to applications that have typically relied on heavier, more complicated, and therefore more expensive, metal shell connectors.

Supporting the AS39029/90, /91, /113, /114 Twinax and ARINC600, ARINC404, AS39029/119, /120 Quadrax rear release, rear removable, size 8 style contacts, PEGASUS HS & LUMINUS HS provide exceptional performance in tight spaces, with a svelte shell size 8 (0.512”) outer diameter. With the explosive growth in ethernet enabled devices (IOT), this is size and configuration is particularly suited for end point applications, such as individual avionics sensors, panel mounted units, seat back and wall mounted displays and monuments.

PhaseTrack®

PhaseTrack® cable assemblies are designed for applications demanding minimal phase change over temperature.  All PhaseTrack cables use proprietary TF4® dielectric that does not have the abrupt shift in the phase that occurs with solid or tape wrapped PTFE based products under normal room ambient temperature conditions.  PhaseTrack cable has the same triple shield construction used in Times popular SF®, SFT®, SilverLine® and MT cables.

PowerSafe Connectors

PowerSafe connectors are designed to transmit high power with voltages over 500V in high demanding environments, in keeping the full safety of the user. Those connectors are directly derived from the standard MIL-DTL-38999 III, with the same environmental characteristics. Their main benefit is to provide a real user safety, due to a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell. The last-to-mate/first-to-break pilot contact allows the mating and unmating without power.

Quick Mount

Amphenol Pcd's Quick Mount Relay Sockets snap mount into standard aircraft panel cutouts and eliminates all socket-to-bulkhead mounting hardware. This simplifies the installation and dramatically reducing weight and installation cost. Sockets meet the applicable performance and dimensional requirements of MIL-PRF-12883 and are compatible with MIL SPEC approved relays from any manufacture. Can be used in existing avionic systems with standard slotted panel cutouts.

R27 (MIL-DTL-83527)

The Amphenol R27 Series is a robust rectangular connector designed to meet or surpass all the requirements of the MIL-DTL-83527 specification and
EN 3682 European Standard. This series is particularly well suited for military and commercial aircraft applications where harsh environmental issues are a concern.
Connectors, shells, inserts, termination modules and contacts are sold separately or fully assembled.
These connectors are intermateable and interchangeable with filtered and non-filtered MIL-DTL-83527 connectors.
A wide range of contact arrangements are available using contact types from Fibre Optic, Quadrax, Differential Twinax, Triax,
Twinax and Coax to the standard size 12, 16, 20 and 22 contacts, in crimp and PCB.
These connectors are offered in both filtered and non-filtered designs.
Filtered designs incorporate Amphenol’s solderless construction which reduces stress on the ceramic elements resulting in superior thermal and physical shock performance and unparalleled long term reliability.
Custom designs and features such as termination modules, backshells, unique insert patterns and integral shells are also available

The R39 provides high performance in the severe environment demands of military specifications.

Remote Data Concentrators

The Smart Bus Adaptor (SBA) is a special technology demonstrator to convert analog and discrete signals to digital format for streaming over the databus of any aircraft management system. It can be customized to meet special requirements and works well for retrofits or upgrades. An interconnection bundle may be adapted to equipment ICD's. Remote Data Concentrators are then able to configure inputs/outputs by itself through an intuitive HMI.

Rack & Panel RNJ Connector

The RNJ rack and panel connectors are used to connect electrical or optical devices between a moving unit (rack) and a fixed unit (panel), without any coupling / uncoupling system. The locking of the mated pair is ensured by the mechanical device of the rack.These connectors with realignment capability were designed for harsh environment in term of sealing, shocks, vibrations and EMI protection. The RNJ connectors are HE308 qualified.

SOLARIS is a small, plastic, easy-to-use rectangular connector designed specifically for low and medium power applications.

Solaris’ spring-loaded slide lock mechanism is a snap to use - simply push to lock, and slide to unlock. The slide lock provides convenient single handed & tool-less mating, eliminating the Foreign Object Debris (FOD), found in typical screw mount D-Subs.  Each housing has raised finger ridges for a sure grip, and built-in cable tie access hole provides a “zero footprint” method to secure the connector to a bulkhead or cable bundle.

High grade polyethermide plastic makes SOLARIS suitable for man/machine interfaces with high mating cycles, and provides a wide operating temperature range.  Ultrasonically welded components means void free joints, sealing out humidity for long lasting, crack free operation over the life of the installation.   Interfacial seal and wire seal grommets provide IP67 sealing, meaning your application is free from dust, moisture and corrosion when exposed to the real world.
