The 2M Series is a superior and versatile connector designed and tested to mil-spec standards, comparable to MIL-DTL-38999. The 2M Series is designed for interconnect applications requiring high performance and reduced size and weight. This smaller, high density, lightweight connector far exceeds the competition in quality and performance levels. 2M is intermateable with Glenair's Mighty Mouse.
Stand-off receptacles for 38999 allow to fix directly the connector to the board with 3 or 4 screws. The square flange and jam nut receptacles are equipped with PC tail contacts and stand-off. This feature avoids the use of fastening device during the soldering process and ensures a perfect grounding between the shell of the connector and the ground of the board.
The 62GB miniature bayonet connector series offers designers important features not found in any other range of connectors. They are developed and manufactured entirely in the U.K. 62GB connectors have been well established globally on both industrial military communication projects, including Europe, Canada and India. 162GB Series crimp connectors share many of the features of 62GB solder connectors. Coupling is achieved with a triple-track bayonet locking system which gives positive alignment on all shell sizes. When connector halves are fully mated, there is a definite click. Inspection holes in the coupling ring will then reveal the bayonet pins on the receptacle which are clearly marked in yellow. The Amphenol design means simplified removal of coupling rings for servicing or replacement as they are front demountable. In addition, there is a rough grip, heavy-duty style, for arduous conditions and a lever coupling ring which allows extremely close mounting of connectors. The method of sealing is the same as for 62GB connectors; using peripheral seals on the rubber inserts and sealing the mating shells with a square section gasket. Wire sealing is by multiple risers in the rear grommet.
Amphenol Nexus Technologies is the leader in watertight, breakaway connectors designed to meet severe environmental conditions. Our connectors, which are watertight in up to 6 feet of water, have molded-on wiping-action contacts that provide a self-cleaning feature and eliminate issues with pin/socket open contacts. The 7-Pin and 10-Pin connectors are designed for multiple cable diameters, are available in shielded versions, and can include either solder-type contacts of insulation-piercing contacts, which are field replaceable. Many of the 7- and 10-pin Connectors also come in a miniature versions that is 50% smaller than the standard connector. All standard connector options are also available in the miniaturized versions.

Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) designs and manufactures world class harsh environment fiber optic connectors and cable assemblies for the military and aerospace markets. Cable assemblies built with D38999 connectors, used in military, avionics, and industrial applications, are a cornerstone offering in our industry leading product line, along with TFOCA-II®, M28876 and expanded beam cable assemblies.
The D38999 circular connector series is designed for harsh environments, particularly those with wide temperature ranges and high mechanical vibrations. This electrical connector is adapted for fiber optics by using M29504/4 and /5 termini. These termini fit into any size 16 contact cavity.
Precise alignment is critical to fiber optic connectors. The tightly toleranced fiber optic D38999 connectors ensure precise alignment with precision machined polarization keys and keyways which reduce radial misalignment. This precision yields superior optical performance when compared to standard D38999 connectors. Tight tolerance D38999 connectors also have a positive bottoming surface and conductive surface plating, assuring exceptional EMI/RFI performance.
All D38999 connectors feature a non-conductive insert making this a great connector choice when optical fibers and electrical wires must be used in the same connector. The D38999 series offers a wide range of shell sizes, backshells and insert patterns. Standard contacts and termini are available making any design simple and cost-effective.

Amphenol's EMI/EMP Protection Connectors offer the versatility of standard connectors with EMI/EMP protection for sensitive circuits. Internal housing of the EMI/EMP devices eliminates costly and bulky exterior discrete protection devices. Virtually all major MIL-Spec circulars can be incorporated with filter devices.
Amphenol has developed cylindrical and rectangular connectors which protect sensitive components from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) without diodes, varistors, gas tubes, or “experimental” semi-conductive materials. These connectors utilize the Faraday Cage principle to shunt electrostatic discharge events to the conductive enclosure on which the connector is mounted, thus never allowing the high voltage, high current discharge event to reside on any contacts. The ESD protected connectors have the same physical envelope as their standard counterparts, and do not require special mounting or terminating techniques. All of the contacts remain fully functional, and electrical characteristics such as capacitance are not affected.
Amphenol extends its line of harsh environment fiber optic components with a multi-channel fiber optic feed-through. This feed-through is designed to perform in demanding aerospace environments and any other applications where a high degree of environmental sealing is required between bulkheads.
Borne from the foundation of D38999 mil-spec harsh environment connectors, the FTTA interconnect solution combines standard fiber optic LC components and copper contacts in a rugged, affordable package. The FTTA series is highly configurable to support a wide range of industrial applications where fiber and copper connectivity are required in a single connector for rapid deployment and easy maintainability.
Amphenol RF offers a full line of pre-assembled, fixed-length cable assemblies. Fixed length assemblies are offered in all of our most popular connector series and are available in over 1400 standard configurations and lengths.
Amphenol Fiber Systems International(AFSI) offers the LowPro series of low-profile, fiber optic connectors. The FS115 LowPro has a height of 0.25" making
it ideal for edge-card connections and other applications that require minimal connector profiles. Using field-proven M29504/14 & /15 termini, this fiber optic connector has excellent optical performance with insertion losses of 0.35 dB (typical), 0.75 dB (maximum) and typical back reflection of -50 dB (single mode).
The standard connector is offered with two fiber optic channels. Additional channels are available upon consultation with the factory. The FS115 LowPro is available in side mount, panel mount and inline configurations to support multiple mounting options. LowPro connectors are also offered in a wide variety of plating options and materials (aluminum, stainless steel, marine bronze and brass) to satisfy a wide range of harsh environments.
