USB memory stick has become a very common tool to share information.
The use of the USB key is now extended to industry and military equipments which integrate USB port in standard.
The capacity of USB memory keys is continually increasing so it becomes very critical if the key is damaged.
To answer such new environments of use, Amphenol-Socapex has developed a rugged and sealed metallic USB memory key version with a friendly ¼ turn bayonet coupling.
This new product can be used on any standard USB port.
When the cap is fixed on the stick, it can withstand any harsh conditions which require a sealing (IP67) or which need to resist to any vibrations and shocks.
The “USBF key” series is proposed with various capacities from 256Mo to 8Go, different platings like nickel, olive green or black according to the applications.
This concept of memory key is also available into a derived 38999 standard shell to be used with USBFTV receptacle which provides environmental protection when matted.
